"If I had x amount of money I would be happy."
"I can't seem to save my money or get out of my credit card/ student loan debt. I'm so bad with finances."
"I hate capitalism and don't want to participate, but I need to pay my rent/mortgage and bills."
"I want to feel abundant, but I feel so much anxiety, stress, and lack."
...Then this workshop was created with you in mind.
Despite what you believe about your relationship with money and finances it is possible to cultivate financial and emotional well-being (they are intertwined).
A lot of us have deep pain, shame, and trauma surrounding our money. Shame thrives in secrecy. Shame and secrecy are foundational to the exploitative power structures of imperialist, white supremacist, capitalist, patriarchy as bell hooks called it. This workshop gets underneath the surface of our relationship with money and finances, so that we can heal from the root.
Our nervous system is a key factor when it comes to our financial well-being. Many folks make choices about money from a flight, fight, or freeze response. In this workshop you'll learn how to feel more grounded, safe, and confident with your money, so you can release any shame and guilt that might be holding you back from achieving your goals and desires in your entrepreneurial work, as well as in your personal life.
You feel Guilty or Ashamed About Making Money
- You believe in collective liberation, but the idea of making money feels dirty or selfish in a capitalist society. You're stuck in a loop of guilt and shame, wondering if it's even possible to make an income that aligns with your values.
- You dream of creating something that contributes to the collective liberation of marginalized communities, but you’re not sure how to make that dream a reality while needing to pay rent, bills, and survive within capitalism.
You Fear Being Exploitative
- You’re terrified that by charging for your services or products, you’re somehow participating in the very capitalist exploitation you want to dismantle. How do you price your work fairly, while remaining in alignment with your values?
You're on the STRUGGLE BUS Trying to Find a Business Model That Aligns with Anti-Capitalist Values
- You’re trying to build something meaningful, but you hate the traditional profit-driven business models. You know you don’t want to engage in harmful, extractive practices, but you don’t know what other options exist.
You're Burnt the Fuck OUT from Overworking for Little to No Pay
- You’re constantly giving your energy away, whether through unpaid work, bartering, or undercharging, and it's leaving you burnt out. You’re not sure how to find a balance between contributing to the world and taking care of your own financial well-being.
You're Feeling Unworthy of Charging for Your Skills
- You struggle with imposter syndrome, wondering if you’re even worthy of making a living doing the work you love. The internalized belief that you’re not good enough or deserving enough holds you back from charging what you’re worth.
You Believe That Financial Stability Is Out of Reach
- Growing up in systems that feel designed to keep you down, you’ve internalized the belief that financial security is unattainable. You see others who have made it, but you’re convinced that kind of stability isn't meant for you.
You've Got Internalized Shame About Debt
- You’re carrying debt—whether it’s student loans, credit cards, or medical bills—and it feels suffocating. Even though you know the system is rigged, the shame of being in debt still weighs heavy on you.
You're Terrified of Being Seen as Greedy or Materialistic
- You’ve been conditioned to see wealth or financial success as something to be suspicious of. The fear of being labeled as “greedy” or materialistic makes you hesitant to pursue financial goals or grow your business.
You're Just Overwhelmed DAMMIT!
- You’re disillusioned by the toxic grind culture, hustle mentality, and scarcity mindset that capitalism demands. You want to reject these systems, but you’re not sure how to build something sustainable without falling back into them.
You've Noticed Some Trauma Responses That Impact Your Financial Decisions
- Whether it’s a fear of spending, anxiety around money, or avoidance of looking at your bank account, your nervous system is stuck in survival mode. You know this is trauma-related, but you don’t know how to shift out of it.
You're Frustrateddd with Traditional Financial Advice
- You’re tired of hearing the same capitalist-driven financial advice that ignores systemic oppression and trauma. You know budgeting and “saving more” aren’t enough, but you’ve struggled to find approaches that recognize the impact of capitalism, racism, and trauma on your financial health.
You're Feeling Isolated in Your Business Journey
- You’re navigating all of these feelings on your own, and it’s isolating. You feel like no one understands the unique challenges of being an anti-capitalist entrepreneur in a capitalist world. You crave a community that gets it.
Healing Money Trauma 101 addresses these pain points by combining trauma-informed, anti-capitalist financial healing with practical tools for building a sustainable business that aligns with your values. This workshop provides a space for healing, community, and deep self-reflection as you work to reshape your relationship with money and find a path that feels values-aligned, in integrity, nourishing, and sustainable.

“I knew my money trauma was keeping me from starting my business a little bit because I felt weird charging money. It’s like that capitalist crux where you feel icky doing it, so I kinda knew it was a thing, but I don’t think I really realized how blocked I was with it.
"I think #girlboss culture was also blocking me and a huge reason why I have icky feelings about being an entrepreneur. Because usually it’s kinda done in a way where women are taking on all these problematic characteristics and trying to emulate patriarchal business standards. And there are other ways to do business. Working with Erin allowed me to reconceptualize that.”

I'm a queer (as in abolish the prison industrial complex) trauma-informed, astrology-obsessed, mindset + business coach, certified Trauma of Money facilitator, writer, educator, and co-founder of Terra Incognita Media. I created Vesta Business School to help guide fellow anti-capitalist solo entrepreneurs heal from the violent impacts of racialized capitalism and build thriving businesses that prioritize the Earth, people, and their own well-being. When I'm not firing off feminist killjoy propaganda into the ether you can find me climbing, running, roller skating, making pancakes for my friends, and interrupting toxic masculinity every goddamn chance I get.
I can't wait to meet you and support you in healing your relationship with money and entrepreneurship!
